I feel like we should all, morally if not legally, TRY to find a solution that doesn't end up with a person dead, criminal or no. A lot of burglars start to break in assuming people are not home and have no intention of causing physical harm. If you let them know you're there, they may well do what that guy did and run off.

I also thought about that crazy woman who got out of her car and pointed a gun at a black mother and daughter after they got in an argument in a parking lot, and that she tried to claim self defense. Look, I had a man actually try to get into my car once. I threatened to run him over and he backed off, heh. There is no earthly way getting back OUT of the car with a gun is the best solution there.

And no one was even trying to get in her car! She was just getting yelled at. Woman, take ONE ride on the NYC subway or DC metro. LOL.

I just see how these people with guns react to situations and it's like it's some sort of alternate reality, not my country :/ I cannot fathom ever responding in such a way.

I remember the time I drove into a standoff with five cops holding guns and for this weird moment, I felt like it was a movie? Like, I couldn't process that it was really happening. Then I floored it the **** out of there :/
