We lived in Kansas for a year - otherwise affordable but I recall the insurance situation wasn't great because of all the tornadoes. Climate change be coming for us all eventually.

Florida is also weird because people BRING animals there that aren't supposed to be there and then they become invasive. They have a massive problem with Burmese pythons who have become hugely invasive in the Everglades because people brought them to Florida and just...let them go. #1, never do that, 99% of the time you decide you can just let a random animal go who's never been in the wild, it dies. #2, WHO DECIDED TO BRING A CRAPTON OF BURMESE PYTHONS TO FLORIDA.

Florida is an early glimpse into the end times, lol.

Right? Don't go into the woods if you don't want to get attacked by a Burmese python. Don't go vaguely near any small lake if you don't want to get eaten by an alligator. So basically, don't go there, lol.
