And that's not close to the building so I'd have to walk through the city crush to get there - closer parking is more like $40 a day. WHO CAN AFFORD THAT.

I probably make roughly $26 an hour before taxes, so that'd be giving a significant chunk of my day PER DAY to parking. My public transit is fully subsidized The transit I cannot use until we get a vaccine.

Yep, more when you factor in taxes. And yet when we had a webinar today, they have no good answers as to how they can expect people to come in when mass transit is not running at full schedule and you cannot adhere to CDC guidelines while on it.

It's a real problem for those of us who work in big cities; we can't all park there and a lot of people don't even have cars.

Well, I certified as high risk, so I guess my solution is just...not going into the city for the foreseeable future.

I have no real choice; between my lungs and living with my mom who is also high risk, I just can't gamble with this thing. If they offered me parking, I MIGHT feel differently, but they are clearly not going to do that.

Also, my train platform is closed for the summer for construction, so I'd have to take a shuttle and they get beyond crammed. So it's even worse than usual.
