I mean, he's a sociopath, so he's not going to suddenly care about other people. And he's impulsive and short-tempered and incapable of thinking long-term, so he can't even pretend to care to help himself.

Other Presidents had the sense God gave them to know that it wasn't a good play to openly behave as if they don't care how many Americans die to "keep the economy afloat" long enough to get reelected, but Trump does not have that sense.

And some of that is because all but maybe three Republican governors will listen to him in whatever insanity he comes up with next (the exceptions being Hogan, Baker, and DeWine of Maryland, Massachusetts, and Ohio respectively).

He was down 15 in the most recent Quinnipiac poll. Which is a solid poll but it does tend to swing, but still, lol. And he was even down a decent amount in GOP-friendly Rasmussen.
