 First thing I wanted to do for this is look at what we did last year:

I know we won Best Empowering Song so I feel for that one we shouldn't go with that song again. I'd suggest Invincible this time. Here's my suggestions: • Best Love Song Piece By Piece because it is her love story/song • Best Break-up Song take your pick?  I don't think we could go wrong with any of the songs we have • Best Ballad Because of You • Best Single I'm not sure for this one • Best Empowering Song Invincible • Best Fan Favourite Song I'm not sure on this one either • Best Cover Song I'm bad with covers, she's done too many • Best Collaboration All I Ask of You with Josh Groban. I didn't beg Rae to change the rules for nothing  • Best Music Video • Best Use of Colour in a Music Video Heartbeat Song, Wrapped in Red, People Like Us • Best Use of Special Effects in a Music Video Don't Waste Your Time, Because of You, Behind These Hazel Eyes, People Like Us, ect. there's a few ideas for this one too • Best Concept Music Video People Like Us, Because of You (with Reba) Looking forward to seeing everyone else's suggestions   __________________

• Best Love Song I would agree with Piece by Piece for the same reason you gave.
• Best Break-up Song Since U Been Gone. • Best Ballad I like your bias . I vote for Someone or Cry.• Best Single Since U Been Gone or Stronger? • Best Empowering Song For something different Invincible could be good. People Like Us could work too? • Best Fan Favourite Song Maybe? • Best Cover Song That requires more thought. • Best Collaboration • Best Music Video I feel we could do a poll for this one.  Yes, Cry is one of my favorite Kelly ballads, and it probably doesn't get as much love as some of her other ones.• Best Love Song Can I Have A Kiss or PxP (or MLWSWY if it counts) • Best Break-up Song take your pick? You can't beat SUBG • Best Ballad Cry • Best Single again, gonna go with SUBG on this one • Best Empowering Song Stronger • Best Fan Favourite Song hhmmmm, IDK what many consider as fan favorite, maybe like... You Thought Wrong or Addicted? • Best Cover Song Walking After Midnight (Patsy Cline) or Lies (Black Keyes) but personally Stuff Like that There from Idol days. • Best Collaboration Don't You Wanna Stay • Best Music Video Behind These Hazel Eyes • Best Use of Colour in a Music Video Heartbeat Song • Best Use of Special Effects in a Music Video Hmmm, People Like Us maybe • Best Concept Music Video Because of You __________________

It is unanimous then. We will go with Cry. Chelle you have no say in the matter
. I agree that it does not get as much love as her other songs but it is a beautiful song.For some of them I agree with your suggestions Amelia but the question is do we want to change up the songs from what we did last year? I guess if we change some there will be some which could stay the same as they are amazing (like the BTHE music video). |

Oooh, I see what you're saying that is a good point. We don't want them ALL to be the same as last year, for sure.
For empowering song, we can go with Invincible (since we did Stronger last year). Collaboration we can do AIIOY (with Groban) or BOY with Reba (since we did DYWS last year). __________________

I'll happily go with Cry
I love that but forget about it sometimes. It definitely needs more love For the concept video we went with the normal version of Because of You last time so we could go with the duet version this time I agree with SUBG for Break Up song. I'd rather go with People Like Us for special effects music video than Invincible since I'm not a huge fan of the boxes in Invincible   Quote:

I agree with all the middle bits that you said we appear to have agreed on
• Best Use of Colour in a Music Video: We did Heartbeat Song last year so a part of me wants to go with something else & if we're using PLU elsewhere I'd say go with Catch My Breath or Wrapped in Red • Best Concept Music Video: I feel like Because of You needs to be somewhere so maybe go with the duet version so its different to what we did last year? Plus if we're using BTHE & PLU elsewhere its a different song/video in this category __________________
