Yes indeed.
There is a lot of tension there. And Weevil and Veronica could have easily been a couple. But after their potential breakup it might be difficult to restore their sparkly relationship.

The whole plot is much better, because Veronica doesn't hook up with everyone. And her friendship with Weevil is amazing and lasting.

Some people may disagree with me, but I the ending of the film. Some might say it's depressing, but I didn't see that way. They were both back where they belonged. Both of them, in their own way and place, back to trying to keep Neptune from being over-runned by corruption and greed-and shady rich people.

It kinda had to end that way-you can't have the whole cast in it, if Veronica is somewhere else. I suppose she could have been a lawyer in Neptune...maybe they'll to that someday.

As for Weevil - there had to be some drama in his life, otherwise his character would have been either boring or irrelevant.
