One thing I do know for sure, is that she loved her family with all of her heart, no matter what. Her faith, wisdom, dignity and unconditional love will always be with me. I thank God for all the love, life and memories I've shared with my Grandma. On the day she met her great-grandson, Percy Daggs IV, I knew that she knew exactly who was kissing her lovely face. Today, September 30th, 2013, my beloved Grandma, Sadye Daggs, went home to be with the Lord and Percy Sr., after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She will be deeply missed, and forever loved. I'm walking in her memory, for my family, and for all of the families who have ever loved or known someone with this terrible disease. I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.

Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
