I've always felt there is a connection between them beyond the blood...

I'm pretty sure that will be something unspoken (think Jess choosing the tie for Luke in '4.21 - Last Week Fights, This Week Tights')!

The thing is I could see all of these things happening and they would all be true to character IMO it just kind of depends which way ASP would want to do it.

I think Jess will be geniunely happy for Luke. I mean, Luke's wanted this for a while and Jess knew something like this was gonna happen for a while, so... the least he could do is be happy.

Perhaps he'd be happy for Luke, but Jess and Rory would become relatives. You know, Lorelai tries hard to protect Rory from Jess. Not good.

Janet - I think it depends on who would tell him, or the way he'd get to know. Jess can't express his feelings, I guess that's what makes his reactions so special.

Lands - Can we blame her? If I was Rory's mother... Other than that, I'm a Rory/Jess shipper all the way. Nothing against her other guys.

I agree Bency and I must say that I appreciate Jes above all her other love interests. He's a lot like Luke, they both can't express their feeligs verbally, but do other things to show how they feel.

Pav, I think it was more than that. Just because he was honest with her, when they first met, nothing justified her later behaviour.

Do you think we'll ever see some mention of Jees on the show as if he does have some sort of an off screen realtionship with Luke?
Like maybe if one time Luke comes home & Lorleai says "Jess called to ask if he's left his copy of 'The old man & the sea' here".
I'd like a scene like that!

Oh I love this scene, it shows that they really like each other despite their arguments. It's a cute scene and I can see another like that when Luke marries Lorelai
