I loved the dynamic and chemistry between Julian and Peyton when he was first introduced.

It really gave him a mysterious side. He was presented to Peyton as a threat but it looked like more than a threat of an old boyfriend. And then he came off as the guy who just wanted to make a good movie from Lucas Scott's book.

They failed so hard with inserting Julian in the season so late. But that Julian was the best. I can't even recognize him now.

I loved the version of Julian that was got in his first couple of episodes.

Peyton's reluctancy imo was understandable. I think she should have been honest with Lucas but I get where she was coming from too. She was happy Luke got jealous though.

As far as Peyton knew Julian had slept with someone so she was mad at him, and him waltzing into Tree Hill and getting involved with Lucas's movie....it made for some great TV.

I'd love for those details to be in the book.
