Rory and Luke #1: Because we see them as a father and a daughter
 

Oh I love the scenes between these two. Rory seems to be really close to him and all.

I love all their scenes. They're great. I also love when Luke was protective of Rory when she was dating Dean. He thought that no guy was good enough for her, I thought that was really sweet.

i think their relationship is so father daughter like .. that's why its so right if lorelai and luke get married because rory won't have to adjust or anything, their so family like already :)

Luke would be a perfect Daddy for Rory.. ;)

I loved him, too when he was so protective when Rory dated Dean, but also when she dated Jess.. He loves Rory.. ;)

You can really tell that Luke loves her like she was his daughter. He's always been there for her and he's been the main male figure in her life. I think that's why it was an easy adjustment for Rory when Lorelai and Luke started dating.

Luke can kick Christopher's ass at being the better father anyday. I love the way Luke's so protective of her and treats her like his own daughter. Totally looking forward to more Luke/ Rory bonding scenes in the future!

I love when Dean first breaks up with Rory and Luke goes out there and tries to fight him. It shows how much Luke cares for Rory.

Yeah me too.. Just watched that ep yesterday... Luke really got angry when Lori told him about Dean leaving Rory..

And do you remeber the ep "Rory's Birthday Parties" when he made a cake for her ? :love:

LUKE: Hey, wrong table.

RORY: Since when is there a right table?

LUKE: Since the coffee cake I baked for you and the stupid balloons I blew up are at that table, over there.

RORY: You blew up balloons for me?

LUKE: Yep.

RORY: Oh, Luke, you old softie.

LUKE: I count to three, it's gone.

RORY: Thank you.

What about the scene where Luke (awkardly) hugs Rory when she had gotten into both Yale and Harvard? Very cute!:)

Luke talks of Rory like she is his daughter and that's why I love him. Remember in the episode with the car crash and him and Lorelai were fighting and he said about Rory something "You know I care more about her than I do myself"..I wish we would get some good Rory/Luke scenes this year - we haven't too many.

I wish they would do more scenes together as well. They haven't been in a scene together since the Pippi episode. I wanted to see how Rory was going to be around him after the whole Bop it incident, but i guess they just made up without us seeing it.

Yeah, that would be great. Especially a scene where we can see Luke's reaction to Logan. Wonder how he'll react, if they ever meet?
Is Luke gonna be protective of Rory, mean to Logan? I doubt they will hit it off right away...:)

RORY: Bye Luke.

LUKE: Bye.

[Rory leaves; Luke sits down with Lorelai]

LUKE: Uh, listen, I just want you to know that I had a little talk with Jess earlier.

LORELAI: You did?

LUKE: Yes, I did, and I really laid down the rules concerning him and Rory. Trust me, he now knows that I am going to be watching them every second they are together.

LORELAI: Oh good.

LUKE: Yup.

LORELAI: You know, they’re together now.

LUKE: What?

LORELAI: Oh yeah. ‘I have to get a part for my car’, ‘I’m going to go study’ - that’s kid code for ‘Meet me at the previously agreed upon location far away from my clueless uncle.’

LUKE: You’re kidding me, right? You don’t really think that. . .damn, they are! They’re together. They used the kid code and now they’re together!

LORELAI: It’s okay, Luke.

LUKE: It’s okay, Luke? They are out there right now doing God knows what, completely unsupervised. How did you let this happen?

And I believe that Luke's reaction to the whole Logan thing would be very interesting ;)

I bet Luke won't like Logan at first and neither will Lorelai...Or maybe Luke will and Lor won't, which would be interesting.

I am almost conviced Lorelai won't approve of Logan when she meets him just because he is the poster child of everything she ran away from.

Yea i was wondering about that too....i like when luke tried to stop dean coming into the diner after he dumped rory the first time...and that whole speech he gave lorelai about how was dean gonna do better than rory...aww luke the softie :lol:

I can't wait to see what Luke's reaction to Logan is. It should be hilarious. There's no way that he is going to like Logan, at least not at first.

I wonder if anybody could make a banner for this thread?? :)
