Lorelai: If I stop to think about you leaving now, I'm gonna fall apart. We still have time left. It's too soon.

RORY: And in your premonition, you didn’t run away from what is perhaps the slowest land animal on the earth?
LORELAI: His first bite injects me with immobilizing poison.

RORY: A favorite Lorelai Gilmore pastime.
LORELAI: And my shotgun backfires and my whole face spins around a bunch of times and winds up in the back of my head like Daffy Duck.
RORY: That’s the silliest one yet.
LORELAI: Now, if that’s how I go, you gotta promise to move my face back to the front of my head like Daffy did with his beak.
RORY: I should be writing this down.
LORELAI: You can remember to move my face to the front of my head.

I love the relationship between them. I love that they are so close and that they can talk to each other about anything. It's really cool.

Def.! I wish me and my mom were like that. I could totally see that we wouldn't have fought as much but oh well can't change the past.

I still love the fact that Lorelai raised Rory on her own (well with the help of Stars Hollow) and she didn't abandon Rory. That shows a true woman.

I love that Lorelai raised her on her own. A lot of women wouldn't do that or dump the kid on their parents. I think that it's really brave of her to try to make it on her own and be able to support herself and Rory w/out her parents money.

Excatly. Thats what is so great about the show, and that it shows a strong women raising her child on her own. Very awesome.

Tehy definitely talk fast!

We have a translator that says what they say and this poor person does his best to talk as fast as them, but he usually misses some great jokes

My mum likes GG and we usually watch it together. And I'm the lucky one because my mum is the best person ever. I usually relate her to Lorelai and we laugh or heads off when we watch Gilmore Girls because their behaviour is sometimes very similar to ours.

The insanely fast talking is part of the charm. Although I tell ya, it REALLY is a test on your abilities when you are trying to watch GG and talk on the phone at the same time. Steps up the difficulty level of listening to two conversations at once up quite a bit
