What's the font?

Penny Lane 10-28-2020 09:18 PM

I haven't checked them all but it's Lucida Console and Lucida Sans Unicode. I've been trying to use them but they show up as Times New Roman on my MacBook.

I have a Mac and just tested it out and I'm getting the same results.

Gah now I don't have to pull my hair out. I have to switch to my PC when creating certain OPs. :sigh:

It was only for IG posts, but all IG posts. But now it seems to work fine again. Hopefully it stays that way. Thanks for trying to help either way.

now i do have the same problem  but i am using a MacBook pro and a safari browser. if i use firefox, i can see the IG posts but when i use safari web browser, instead of the IG pic it's just a huge white blank space. it's been like this for 1 day now.

edit: i found out that i can see the embedded IG when i am logged off of IG and deleted my cookies/cash. but as soon as i am logged in, i get this big white blank...

That's not a :ff: issue.

Some things are just computer/browser/app specific.

I don't have a MacBook but from what I read Lucida Grande or Helvetica Neue are similar. I believe those 2 fonts are default for Mac? But they're not included in :ff:'s basic fonts to use here so I'm not sure how that could work. Will it be possible to use another font instead since Console and Sans Unicode are super old fonts?

There are Mac substitutes for those fonts but :ff: doesn’t use them. I can definitely use another font but I like those too so I was just wondering. :)

It's mostly to disable third-party ads on :ff:. You don't have to pay if you don't want to and are okay with the ads.

Is :ff: retina-display ready?

I don't think so. :ff: is a forum and is not a heavily based picture site. Upgrading it, I imagine, would cost more.

Hi everybody. Does anyone know a good icon making website. The Avatar Maker website no longer produces 100x100 icons, I looked all over the net but I could not find any. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you! :)
