To have a "custom icon" you need 101 so just a little bit to go before you can upload one otherwises we have tons of standard icons, 5 for each board to pick from

You need to have at least 100 to 101 posts to change your avatar to a custom one.

Well, I used to post a lot on the FanFic Forum, where we wrote our own stories about our favorite Show. I couldn't seem to find the thread though... is there still some Kind of Forum where you can do fanfics?

There is no longer a fan fic board but threads you can visit. Some are on the Books & Writing Board.

You can also use tags to look up corresponding threads related to Fanfiction.

At the bottom of the Tags page you can search specific words. I did a “Fan Fiction” search and it listed these results.

Several boards have been reinstated through the Requests process for adding new boards. You're welcome to start a campaign and suggest it be added to the monthly poll.

Can I? Cause a couple of years ago when I suggested this I was just told to go to the Books and Writing Board instead. I can't remember by whom, but it was someone from management.

Also, is anyone else interested?

hmm ... now that I think of it, the Books board was expanded to Books and Writing in order to clarify that Fan Fiction was included there. I'd suggest PMing Lindsay & Johnnie.
