Can we change the color of our stars?

I loved the bigger ones, where you had so many color options....I always liked changing them to match my avatar.

I certainly hope so, although some people seem to be very happy with the stars system.

One minor suggestion. Could the stars system be tied to the number of posts and not tied to the member rank. Let's say a green star for 1,000 posts and a gold star for 10,000 posts?

Stars system tied to the member rank is rather redundant.

In addition, a little space between member rank and stars would be very nice, too.

For the moment, we've gone with gold stars because it won't clash too badly with any particular board given that everyone gets the same colour. Green, red, blue ... those could clash a bit or completely blend in with the background on some boards.

If we add a feature to allow you to change stars, then you'll be able to vary the colour. I don't imagine we'll go back to the previous stars with circles though, they were relatively large. I think the smaller icons work better, and allow us to use more of them (with the large circled stars we had 2 rows of 6, now we have 2 rows of 7 and it still takes up less space).

We're constantly making small adjustments to the page layouts too, there'll probably be some minor changes to the left column now that it's getting so big.

I see nothing wrong with the stars. They took me by surprise when they can because I wasn't here back when they were first used.

I like them yellow because it's such a generic color that doesn't clah much
