this cold just doesn't want to give up. I was feeling really tough yesterday with all the coughing and congestion. At least I'm sleeping well at night and I feel a bit better this morning.

I scheduled too many appointments for yesterday. Three in total. I didn't intentionally do it but I wasn't keeping track of them. I am so used to receiving emails and texts reminding me of appointments that I haven't been great about writing them down. One was scheduled 6 months ago (dentist), one 4 months ago (ortho), and last one a few weeks ago (therapy). What are the odds that all would have been scheduled for the same day? I think I officially need a calendar or planner to write appointments down in so I don't accidentally do this again.

I’m glad to hear that Chris! My week has been pretty good overall which I’ll take since in general we’ve been overworked and stressed and dealing with a lot at work. I’m hoping I don’t have to go out in the field tomorrow and can just work on investigations.

Norman - I hope you enjoy the family time.

Amy - yikes about having 3 appointments on the same day. I'd be stressed having 2. I have a wall calendar in the kitchen where anything going on gets marked down.

Mel - good luck getting everything you want done at work finished before your vacation. Do you have any special plans?

Thankfully I'm finally feeling better so I can get out to the store and get stocked up today. It's a long weekend here so things will be busy. The cottagers, campers and tourists will be out in full force.

No not really. Just spending time with family and friends and taking a much needed break from work.

Productive start to the day already. But eating some breakfast now. I made a mini breakfast quiche I made last night for breakfast.

Did a small grocery shop today to get us through the weekend. Strawberries were on sale so got the fixings to make Strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was yummy
