Norman - oh, that sounds like it would be interesting.

Mel - I wondered if you meant the old Star Wars movie. I loved the original trilogy, but haven't been as impressed with the newer releases.

Julie - yay for a long weekend!

As we were cleaning up after supper last night the doorbell rang. It was a pizza delivery person. He's trying to hand me the pizza and is confused that I don't want to take it. Not sure who he was supposed to deliver it to, but it wasn't me.

Hope you enjoyed your extra day off Julie

Chris - You’re definitely not the only one who feels that way. I have appreciated them all for different reasons.

Hmm interesting. I wonder what happened lol

Pretty good Monday for me. I’m in a Non Escalation/De Escalation class today and tomorrow (it’s being done through Microsoft teams virtually). It was interesting today and I really like the instructor. I was also able to get some other work done so that was also good.

I enjoyed my extra day off. I had a relaxing time.

They sound like interesting jobs, Norman. I hope everything goes well for you.

I might have been tempted to take the pizza, Chris.

I'm glad you had a good Monday, Mel.

Mel, congratulations on becoming a Moderator Manager. That's great news.

Chris - The class was created for police officers but it was applicable to our job too and yep even every day life stuff. Definitely some useful tips.

Thank you Chris and Julie I’m excited!

How is everybody today? Had a meeting with our financial advisor yesterday afternoon, and that went well. He feels everything is on track and we don't need to make any changes. Went for dinner afterwards. I had a crispy ranch wrap with a side of onion rings and it was really good.

Sounds yummy. And that’s good news.

I helped a co-worker today and it took up half my day. I worked over tonight because so much to do and I have an investigation due tomorrow. I got it finished. Feeling tired.

Chris - I love onion rings and pretty much ranch anything is delish. I am glad your meeting went well .

Mel - Congrats on your MM appointment I am so glad to have you on the team! Sounds like a really great class! Glad you got so much out of it.

Julie - so glad you got an extra day off and were able to enjoy it.

Hi Norman

I have had so much going on lately that I completely spaced one of my son’s therapy appointments. I really need to start adding them onto my phone calendar because relying on my memory with so many appointments obviously isn’t working great.

Amy - yikes about missing the appointment. It can be hard to keep track of things.

Mel - hope you had a better day today.

I made a big batch of potato salad this afternoon. Should be leftovers for a couple more meals. We had bbq'd chicken & broccoli to go with it.

Amy - Thanks again

I know how that goes. When things are hectic and a lot to keep track of that happens. Sounds like a plan.

Do you have any birthday plans?

Thanks Chris. It was another long day but it was better.

That sounds delicious! Yum!

I’m happy tomorrow is Friday

Amy! I hope your family spoils you today.

Mel - hope you have a good Friday.

Hubby is taking me out for a drive to see trilliums, then for lunch. There's a place just south of town where there are tons of trilliums in the woods, and it's just gorgeous.

I seen the Northern Lights last night! They're visible here occasionally, but usually just a bit of white. Last night there was lots of white a bit of green and red too, so it was a nice display. Nowhere near the pictures you see of multiple colours up north, but it was a sight to see.

That’s amazing. I’m jealous. I didn’t see. But wow I’ve seen some amazing pictures. So gorgeous!

I took a nice walk this morning and just made and ate a nice breakfast.
