Had a great time at the concert. The band performed a nice variety of songs and their voices were really true to the originals. Last night's show sold out a few weeks ago, so there will be another show in October. Don't think I'd see them again that soon, but might do it eventually. Also did a bit of shopping. Hubby had more luck than I did, but there wasn't anything I really needed. Overall a nice getaway.

Norman - Are you graduating?

Lots of flooding here this week and this weekend. Feeling sad for a lot of people. A couple of my co-workers have been affected and many of my providers. :/

Didn’t go out again today because of the road closures etc.

Mel - yikes about the flooding! Sounds like things in your area are a real mess. Water damage can be a real pain to clean up.

Just a regular Saturday for me getting caught up with the housework. It will be nice to sleep on fresh sheets tonight. Made a quick trip to the store. I noticed the hanging baskets were out in the garden center and on sale, so ... I couldn't resist. I'll keep them on the porch for now in case of another frost.

Chris - I hate housework. That is the worst part of the weekend for me. I am glad that you were able to get it all out of the way.

Mel - I am sorry that you have had to deal with so much flooding. It's so crazy that we live within an hour or so of each other but out weather can be so different.

We are at swim meet this weekend. The pool is outdoors this time and the weather does not look good for tomorrow. Hopefully we do not get rained out.

Amy - It sure is crazy how some areas get a ton of rain or flood while others in the area get nothing.

Amy - there aren't many outdoor community pools around here anymore. As a child, I took swimming lessons at one, and remember shivering in the cool weather. Hope you have a decent day.

Mel - woah, a full day of movies for you! Would you recommend any of them?

Chris - If you like horror/vampire movies Abigail was a lot of fun. Tarot was a horror movie too. It was just okay. The Phantom Menace is 25 years old now so they have been doing screenings for the 25th anniversary. It was fun to see on the big screen again.

We got a bit more rain today but have a break right now. Might be more later.

Doing some cleaning today, laundry, and a bit of cooking.
