I'm glad the party was a hit, Mel.
I'm glad you enjoyed your lunch, Chris. I'm glad you had good weather. I'm sorry about your migraine, Amy. I hope you feel better now. Hi, Norman and Ken. It has been raining lately. I'm hoping it will be dry enough to go to my allotment later. I still have a lot of planting to do. __________________

Julie - what have you planted already? My rhubarb is coming up nicely.
Norman - do you have any plans for the weekend? I need to get out to the library today, but not much else going on. Picked the 9-10 timeslot for my grocery order, and they called at 10 after 8 to say it was ready. So my son went and picked it up, and I got it put away before breakfast. Hubby decided he wanted to "butcher" the honeydew melon. He completely removed the rind, then cut it in half to scoop out the seeds. I would have cut it in half, sectioned it, then removed the rind and seeds. His way worked, just looked really awkward. __________________

I planted some rhubarb a while ago. It hasn't grown any bigger yet. I have recently planted potatoes, carrots, spring onions, lettuce, beetroot, peas and summer flowers. The garlic and broad beans that I planted a while ago are growing well.

How was your weekend Norman? Julie - Hope you’re able to do some planting later. Chris - Sounds messier the way he did it lol I did laundry today, finished a couple books and continued reading another one, and got a nice nap in. __________________

Sorry to hear that Mel.
Was supposed to have a meeting with our financial advisor today, but he's sick, so need to get that rescheduled. __________________

Mel - yay for free breakfast!!! And I am glad your day was better
Julie - it sounds like your garden is off to a great start Chris - that’s too bad that they were sick. Hopefully you do not have to wait long for your rescheduled date. Hi Norman I did not sleep well at all last night. I got maybe 3 hours sleep. Hopefully tonight is better. |

Mel - yeah for a free breakfast and for having a better day
Amy - sorry to hear that. Was there something on your mind or do you routinely have trouble sleeping? Hubby swears that having covid reset his body clock and he's been sleeping much better since then. Although it's not something I'd recommend trying. Norman - how are you doing? Went out for supper with my sis and her hubby last night. It was a good meal and nice to catch up. __________________
