Hi everyone

Feeling much better than I was.

I worked from home today but I have to go out in the field the next couple days. Short week though as I’m off Friday. I’ll be off Monday too.

That’s good about the windows Chris.

I always enjoy watching figure skating.

Julie - We knew something was up with setting a last minute meeting and making us come to the office for 30 minutes. Our supervisor won’t be our supervisor anymore. She got demoted. It’s a good thing but awkward.

Julie - I had to Google brown sauce. Hubby sometimes uses HP sauce when we're out, but it's not something I keep in the pantry. His essential is hot sauce. I hope you get some decent weather for gardening

Mel - so glad that you're feeling better It's good that you've been able to work from home while you're recuperating. Yikes about the boss being demoted. Have they named a replacement yet?

Norman - how are you?

Yesterday my son surprised me with some cut flowers.

For our family Easter gathering we're doing a bbq and house warming for my niece. She's in the midst of a divorce and has just moved into her new place. They were previously living in a home that has been in her husband's family, so she needed to get a place of her own. Sis suggested that pantry items would be a good idea, so I'll need to get out to the grocery store for that.

No replacement yet. They will post the position. It will take a while unfortunately. In the mean time lucky us will have the big big boss managing our unit.

Went to the store yesterday and picked up some pantry items for my niece.

I used to buy HP sauce but I have found that the supermarket own brand version is a lot cheaper and tastes the same. I use it for sausages and chips. I use ketchup for burgers and egg breads. I use mayonnaise for a lot of things. I'm glad your muscari are starting to flower, Chris. I love the smell of them.

I hope you get a good replacement for supervisor, Mel.

I'm glad you're doing fine, Norman.

It was dry yesterday so I worked on my allotment. I planted some rhubarb. It's raining again now.

Chris - I’m really not. But everyone keeps asking me. I’ve been saying no. The big boss requested a one on one meeting with me next week. I’m wondering if she’s going to ask.

Julie - I often find the store brand products are just as good as name brand. I just buy whichever is cheapest. My rhubarb is coming up nicely. Looking forward to making a rhubarb crisp.

Norman how is your week going?

I plan to get out for a top up grocery shop today. We're going to a nearby city on Saturday to celebrate my son's birthday, then have the family gathering on Sunday, and it's Easter, so it will be a busy weekend.

Chris - It has been a good week. My house is being painted and treated outside so the windows are covered in plastic to protect the windows.

Norman - it's nice to get things freshened up. When we get our new windows this summer, I'll be replacing some of the current window coverings. Not sure if hubby realizes that yet.

Mel - Thanks. Never realized how much Easter moved around until I had my son. The year he was born, it was at least a week after. Long weekends are always nice.

I need to bake a cake today, and hopefully get a start on the weekly housework.

I have a 4 day holiday because of Easter. Unfortunately I will lose an hour of holidays because we put our clocks forward on Sunday morning. It will be great to be on British Summer Time though. I love the light evenings.
