I think I’m slowwwwllllyyyyyy getting a bit better day by day...... no painful chest coughing, and not as strong light headed ness.... prepping the fact I’ll go to work tomorrow and all week long.... no more sick days!

I'll be busy today and tomorrow as I will be meeting up with a cousin & a friend who are visiting fro the U.S. Oh and I was called to join the games at the kiddie party yesterday, of course. :rolleyes: :lol:

It's still really cold here. I have to go out to an appointment, so I'll be sure to bundle up.

Yeah that was my first day back at work after virus sickness. And although I was more than happy to get back to work, once I got home I was soooo drowsy I ended up getting in bed at 8 pm and sleeping by 9 pm! :yawn:

Today, enjoying my second day at work and weirdly feel very on top of things! :D

This thread is normally busy but it seems like I haven't missed much. ;)

I have an appointment later this morning with mom's care team to discuss how she's settling in to her new room.

We went bowling and ate ramen for lunch, which btw, a bowl of ramen is like lunch/dinner for me so I was very full and didn't eat dinner anymore. :goof:

I hope the appointment goes well. How is your mom doing lately?

Yum, ramen is so delicious.... I’m taking about the restaurant made kind, Not the instant stuff compared to :lol:

I’ve just been back and at work and feeling on top of things and feeling in a good mood. :nod:

Lindsay - mom's doing okay, thanks for asking. She's still wandering a bit and getting into other people's rooms. She'd be horrified at that if she was in her right mind, but she doesn't realize what she's doing is wrong. *sigh* Overall though she seems content, so that's good.

Elle - did you have a good time with your grandparents?

Sometimes I do get in the mood for instant ramen bowls for lunch or dinner. But I like the extra stuff the restaurants put in.

Well, having an ok day at work, I have a difficult co-worker here that everything seems to have to be her way or the highway and she completed the rest of the work I had left but used tape instead of covering them with laminate, my pet peeve is other people finishing things I was working on but not to my own standards. :mad:

Leanne, yup not the instant kind of ramen. This one was the big bowl kind with the broth and seaweed and tamago. :drool: We have the same pet peeve when it comes to work. Another is when I get work calls during a planned vacation. I understand that a work phone is a work phone and that I should answer it but still. I go away on vacation to get away from work and yet I have no excuse because I have a company issued cellphone I have to answer all the time. :sigh:

Chris, your mom will be in good hands. Home care over there is very good. :nod:

Lindsay - I'm not sure I'd be taking a work phone with me on vacation unless I was being compensated for being on call.

Leanne - It is annoying when somebody else decides to finish something you started, and doesn't do it the way you wanted it done.

Yeah, it’s too bad you have to take a work phone, Lindsay, that’s not a good break to keep your mind there!

I had a good day at work at my other location cause my co-worker there doesn’t touch the work I’m doing and doesn’t care about my pace. So it’s more peaceful. Lately I’m feeling really on top of things at work. Could be my new medication finally seeing results that are good.

Gomma sleep in tomorrow I hope!
