What type of an error message do you get?

I have been having issues recently and I noticed that when I copy the image url from the post where the maker listed the icons that it will often have https: at the start of the address and it won't upload for me to use as an avatar. But if I remove that s at the beginning of the address and use http: instead that it works for me and I can use the image.

You can try to save the avatar on your computer first and then upload it.
