Reason: Alright, I chose this one for Brooke when it comes to her relationship with Lucas. I feel that Lucas has a tendency to let her down. He's fallen short twice with Peyton. He left her alone and didn't call. He didn't fight for her with Rachel. etc, etc. Yet they stay together because they feel safe but he doesn't try to understand her. I think that the line "I wonder what you could possibly know about breaking down that I don't" fits her and Lucas very well in terms of Brooke's point of view. I love Brooke, I really do, she's strong and independent but Lucas is a safety net for her and I think that this song discribes that, especially when they sing: "So shut your mouth and hold me close we both know it's better than being alone. I don't mind killing time as long as I can see it in your eyes"
I hope that makes sense and that I don't offend any Brucas fans. I really tried to step back and have a look at their relationship as a whole because I love Brooke just as much as I love Peyton and I think that she deserves happiness just like Peyton does.
