So, the only way that this relationship would work for you two is for the older woman to get the "hot" young male student?

Why is that? Is it because as women the idea of having a young attractive man appeals more to you then seeing the basic opposite of that? Meaning that one day you hope to have a young man yourself?

It just made it more interesting being unconventional, obviously. I just probably wouldn't care if it was the other way around.

Definitely not. I think it's just pretty much the same as my first answer. It's just more interesting. And personally, I wouldn't want a guy twenty years younger than me. I'm not aganist it at all or anything, I guess i'd just have some trust issues or something.

I can understand those reasons. I've always been drawn to older women myself. Seeing as I've always been more mature then my age according to others. Like my friend Dana told me "You have to stop acting like your 30 and start being 19".

Besides Grace being a teacher adds some more appeal to the situation.

I agree with you ladies that the older woman/younger man storyline was just more interesting that the opposite. I wouldn't have wanted to see Merle trying to get with... Natalie, for instance. I know it's "ew", but seriously, it could have ended up being like that if the show was different.

I enjoyed this storyline mostly because I couldn't always tell what was coming next. Every episode was a new ride, with surprises at each turn. Great stuff.
