I can't think of any off the top of my head. I keep waiting for a plot involving Spike and Connor. I'm guessing I'm always going to be waiting for that one.

I remember some time awhile back, earlier this year maybe, the exec tweeted Miriam and asked her if she would like to come back to film some minis. She said yes...but nothing seemed to come of that. It might be harder to fit her in with the new cast and that is something that has been emphasized by other alumni when speculating their return; they have to be brought back to interact with the newbs. Paige worked well with the whole spirit squad mini.

That's a shame. I wish they could get some of the graduates back for some "where are they now" minis that don't involve this cast. I'm not usually a fan of those where they try to mix the old and new cast together.

Emma may not nave a spirit squad or something else type connection, but her stepfather is the Principal so that alone shouldn't make it too hard to find a way to come up with a way to involve her if they brought her back for a mini.

FWIW, though, I get the sense that they're aren't doing any minis this year. Filming for the season just ended and they usually do the minis right after. There's no indication that's happening this time around.

Yeah there is the Simpson as principal or stepfather connection but I'm kinda struggling for ideas of ways to include her and possibly Spinner with the rest of the cast. First thing that comes to my head is a comedy situation where stepdad drops in on the newlyweds, maybe for dinner or something. Or I guess something where they make fun of Drew and Bianca wanting to marry so young and bring up Emma's past relationships in a joking way. Actually...maybe a good mini to accompany one of the Brew (I just accidentally renamed the ship) episodes is to have Emma go off on one of her tangents to Bianca about it being a mistake and flash to a series of comedic mishaps with Spinner as newlyweds. That might satisfy the haters since they will think this pair is unhappy but at the same time please the shippers because it's hilarious and not canon.

The Brew one would have been fun. I'd love to see one with Connor. Like Connor considers whether he should propose to Jenna or not at graduation and Spinner/Emma both give him their opinions with the series of mishaps idea.

Whenever I think of Connor/Simpson/Nelsons I actually get kind of sad because I doubt the Simpson/Nelson house sets exist anymore. We haven't seen them at home in so long!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this thread on the first page. I know I'm in some mainly disliked minority, but it worked for me - though I wish we got more context out of them.

I miss the old set too, but more so miss seeing the old family dynamics. With Connor still on the canvas I can't see why we can't still have that.
