I got the same vibe from that show as you did.

I wish the movie had Micheal as an Owen type character. I wish the whole movie was with kids like him, runaways and homeless people. In a musical. Selling newspapers. While singing. It'd be like Newsies.

I don't know if this really counts, but I miss Lucas and Isabella. Since Nina left the show, there's no need to show Isabella unless they show Jane at home which is when Lucas would come in and possibly be spending time with his daughter.
They could have done so much with Lucas and chose to keep Bruce which leads me to believe that the actor who portrays Lucas had other things going on.

Chris was also a great character. He was pretty smart and liked hip-hop music, which are two things that don't usually go together.
Sully was funny. I can't believe Kit went on to play cheeseball Sam on LWD! lol
I also liked Jimmy, Trina's girlfriend. Also, Diane was pretty sweet too.

Griffin was also a pretty shady guy but they could have gone places with him.

I miss Lucas too. I really enjoyed Mia's storyline as the teen mom in season 7. He fit in nicely with her conflicting feelings about wanting be a "normal" teen but has the responsibilities of raising a daughter.

Kid Elrick, is not. I don't get the appeal of this dude with the Degrassi boys. I also don't understand why they don't admit he's a copy of Kid Rock? I remember something where they were all ~secretive~ about who they based him off of.

I think it was pretty obvious who he was supposed to be. I thought they were jumping on the Kid Rock fan train a little late though, so it is a strange tribute. Did he watch Degrassi too?

Did Dylan/John Bregar ever make it into the opening credits or was he always recurring?

I think "Guilty as Charged!" was always recurring. Thank GAWD!

Yeah, Dylan was never in the credits but compared to the characters Bruce, Leia, Chantay and Blue (especially in season 8) he definitely should have been.

Yes, unfortunately. Even Darcy was in a full season before she got star billing in season six.

Does anyone like Peter's ex-drug buddy Victoria? I thought she was kinda sorta interesting.

I kinda like Vicki! I wouldn't mind seeing her around... causing trouble. But after SMU I get the feeling she's gone.

Personally I really miss Reese. They created a good dynamic with him and the Niners. And I loved the idea of the Reese/KC rivalry.

I guess Ethan is his replacement. Too bad he's not bad enough to pull off the whole antagonist thing like Reese did. He's just annoying to me. Looks like him, Trish, and Fitz will be back next season too.

Vicki could have been this generation's Amy, which in my mind would be a good thing.

I did hear about him being in Saw, but thanks for the other info! It's nice that he can get some many bit parts, but I wonder if he's ever had a real... steady acting job.

I won't hold out hope for Vicki either, but maybe she'll pop up again.

I liked Reese too. He could have had more of a rivalry with KC, and then HE could have dated Jenna. That would have made way more sense and then all the niners would be happy.

Ethan just looks goofy and the actor seems to love himself, Trish is just kinda... there for me, and who is Fitz?
