so...how did he do that?
I think my guesses are he couldn't save her from drowning,and my other guess is she fell of a cliff and he went to reach for her hand,but he couldn't pull her up and she fell to her death. So he feels so guilty. Sorry I'm a ghost whisperer fan also =]

That he got into a car accident and he blamed himself, but I definitely don't think he killed her as in he murdered her or anything. I honestly think it was an accident. Eli might be obsessed with death, but he's not a bad person.
