So as we all know, one of the things we love about the Canadian TV and film industry is that there only appears about 50 working actors so seemingly these guys can't help but show up in more than one production together. That's definitely with our current and former Degrassi cast members. This is the thread to talk about those productions that feature those multiple cast members.

The show that led us to start this thread is Between, which is a science fiction show currently airing on City in Canada and Netflix elsewhere. The description from the press release:

Below is the trailer. Last Thursday was the first episode, and the second aired tonight.

In the "spot the Degrassi actor" game for that first episode, I counted three (Justin Kelly, Jordan Todosey & Niamh Wilson). There's at least one more, as Sam Munro has posted on social media about her involvement in the show. She wasn't in last week's episode, hopefully she showed up in this one.



So...anyone watching Between? What do you think of it?

What are your favorite shows/movies to feature multiple Degrassi actors? Life With Derek? The Latest Buzz? My Babysitter's a Vampire? Never Cry Werewolf? Look it up.

Anyway...have at it.

Favorite project to feature multiples...probably Instant Star. Aubrey and Stacey appeared together and Cassie had a fun role later on.

I have a lot of favorites, but I think an episode of Being Erica has to take the cake for me. Jake Epstein, Jake Goldsbie, Paula Brancati and Alexx Benoit all appeared in not just one story line but in the same scene.

The first thing that comes to mind is Flashpoint. I don't even know where to start. Jahmil French had a large role. Luke and John Bregar were in it as well. playing bullies. Stacey Farber was a victim on ice skates. I think I remember seeing Paula. No Epstein though. I never got my Manning family reunion.

Dog Sees God was a cool thing. Didn't see the play because I am no where near Toronto.

I think I actually missed these! I remember the commercials and everything but Instant wasn't my show back then. I saved the pictures of Cassie with blue hair though. I can almost remember her name. Was it Blu? It was, wasn't it?

I loved this episode! I need to go rewatch it.

I remember that Being Erica episode! I think what was the most memorable thing for me was the Degrassi kids cursing and "Jane" and "Toby" having an argument. I wonder if that's the last time Goldsbie acted? It's gotta be among his last credits.

Between has now aired two episodes. It's okay, but that character Jeanette McCurdy is playing is annoying as hell. Sam Munro was in the second episode...and spoiler...

Lost Girl! Justin Kelly and Chloe Rose had episodes that didn't carry the series storyline and since I'm not entirely familiar with the show that made their (different) episodes much more enjoyable. Luke Bilyk is currently a recurring character. Who interacts with Tracker because that's his daddy now! That Degrassi connection makes me especially happy because I'm not sure the age difference makes sense. Maybe it does. Tracker doesn't seem old enough. But I just can't separate Tracker from...whoever he is now...obviously.

Epstein (is he going to post a response?) had a bigger role but they were in Charlie Bartlett together, along with Aubrey.

Yeah, he fits into the double whammy of the curse of 2016 and the 27 club. Just awful news. I didn't think of Charlie Bartlett when I first heard the news, but then I looked at his IMDB credits and saw it and was reminded of how many Degrassians were involved.

I need to watch season 2 of Between. I hope Samantha Munro's character comes back. I still remember that scene where Chuck aka Jake aka Justin Kelly basically banished her. He would have protected her if she had only cheated. But since she lied, he would not. Seemed like such a grown up but brutal thing to say.

As far as I can tell, Bailee Madison is starring in a film called Different Folks that is currently filming in Toronto and will eventually air on Freeform.

Luke seems to be having fun, anyway.
