I feel lucky that we had them in Summertime...but I'm going to really miss them. I think they are my favorite sibling pair. They stayed consistent but interesting the whole time. I hope it is kept open for Katie to return. Maya has her whole high school career to mess up and need her big sis!

Someone needs to make that last picture an avatar.

And yeah, I am happy that we got that one last blast with them in Summertime.

Their confrontation in Zomie is still probably my favorite moment of Season 13, although Fiona talking Dallas down from the roof is right up there with it.

I think I might still put Sav and Alli ahead of these two (if only because the parent dynamic of that family is so much better), but they're right up there with my favorite sibling pair in the show's history.

In some ways I think they're everything Darcy and Clare could have been if Sheane hadn't left the show just as Clare was becoming a regular.

And I too am hoping against hope we see Katie again coming back to help out her little sis.

Gotta say that I loved the little mention that Maya gave about the Drew/Katie relationship in this past episode.

She still has her sister's back.

If Katie was still around, she would have Maya's back and do anything to make sure her little sister is not harassed or ridiculed. She would have used her karate skills to attack the guy that was hitting on Maya in the music room.

But in ways I'm kinda glad she's not here. If she found out Zoe was responsible, Miss Rivas would face the wrath of the older Matlin sis. If any of you thought what she did to Drew was bad, I can't imagine what she would do to Zoe

I hear you. It might be good for her to fight her own battles. Katie's protectiveness can be a bit overwhelming, I'm sure, and it might alienate Maya even more from reaching out to her. These two usually have a good bond though and Katie knows when to pull back and just be supportive.

Why couldn't Katie have been home for Thanksgiving? Not expecting it but it would be nice to see her home for a Christmas break...would love to see some Matlin tension around the house for whatever drama and then see then tear into some presents!

Yeah, and since the show has shown that they're willing to bring back a graduated character for an episode here and there (Bianca being the latest example), there's no excuse for a Katie appearance to at least not be on their radar.

Well, if Mama Matlin wants to reenact the opening sequence from Adventures in Babysitting I won't complain.

I also won't complain if when she returns, Katie brings her boyfriend and his best friend and best friend along for the ride.
