All kinds of little things that I don't really use, or don't know where to put... Ornaments, keychains, addressbooks, papers... Really, all kinds of things.
And I keep some pohotos, the ones I haven't sorted out yet, in a shoebox. __________________

I keep all my memory stuff in there. Like, things that remind me of special people, things I wa given that mean a lot to me, pictures, notes from people that I wanted to keep... all the kind of things that I want to be able to take out in a couple of years, and look through, thinking 'Wow, i remember that/them/this.' and get all the memories back again.

The only thing I keep in shoe boxes is pictures. One's that haven't made it to a album yet. That's really all.

Like someone mentioned, for memories. Photoes and other keepsakes. I also have the patterns for completed cross stitch pictures in shoeboxes. They are great for organizing belongings.
