Alright so, one of the wonderful questions facing single women today: Is it okay/sexy/a good thing to ask a guy out? Or does it just come off as desperate? I am thinking about trying to initiate something with this guy I've been talking to for a bit, but I don't know how to go about it and if it would be a big turn off or not. Some of them said hell yeah thats hot adn others said it would be an instant no. So what do we think out there on ?

I think it's ok for a girl to ask a guy out, not desperate at all.
I don't know where you live but where I'm from it's actually kinda common.

I think that guys would be pleased and relieved if women were to take the initiative and ask them out! You won't know till you ask so I would say go for it!

Suggest going for a drink or a a coffee and see where it goes from there

It used to be seen as a bad thing, but now not really. It depends on the guy too...depends if they are more traditional or not...you'd be surprise though how many guys wait on a girl to make the first move. Or you can always manipulate it out of them, if you're good at that. LOL.

It all depends on the guy. And for the most part - I think this day and age, guys like that. However, you should be cautious about the first move and what not.

I think its sexy. Most of the men find women who have the confidence to walk up to them and ask them out very hot! Plus i think men are relieved too, cant be easy to muster up the guts to ask someone out, knowing full well that you could be turned down. But i think there is still some percentage of men who think its a little desperate, and that asking out should be done by men and not women.

I'm not the kind of girl to just blantently ask a guy out. But there are ways you can hint that you want him to ask you out, or to hint that you are interested

I've asked guys to hang out before...not really for a "date" in the traditional sense of the word. I hate, hate, hate doing it, though! Moreso this has to do with the fact that I am shy - not because I believe girls can't/shouldn't do it. Any guy I've ever initiated anything with has been very flattered and has always said yes

My bf made a move on me and won my heart. So, I guess when it all comes down to it, the girl in me wants the boy to ask. Most everyone likes to be pursued!

I try not to come off as shy since I've been shy my whole life so it's a bit hard for me to just go and ask a woman out.

Oh that happened to me once. This girl who's a friend of someone in my group, was just telling me that she could take me shopping and i could also come hang out at her place. I said that i'd like that and then i thought i heard her say - Im Leslie. But what she'd said was that she's a lesbian. I did a double take first, but honestly i was flattered. If i ever decide to hop the fence, then i know i'll be ok.
