I Was Stung By a Wasp!
Last week, as I was filling a bird feeder, I was stung on the wrist by a red wasp!
The red wasp was just building a nest in the top inside of the one feeder and he attacked me! Wow! I forgot how bad red wasp stings hurt! Red wasps are very aggressive, and he just attacked my wrist. I'm not sure, but I think he got me twice right by each other. He drew blood and everything! It sure stung like crazy! I ran inside and put ice on the sting. Then went back outside and killed him with wasp spray. (I live in the country and wasps are common, so I keep wasp spray around) Not long after though, the blood spot began to swell and turn white. Then a spot about the size of a half dollar all swelled up around the sting ... not pretty. Have you ever been stung by a wasp? Are you afraid of wasps? __________________

Poor Carol! I would not let them near me. I hate wasps! During the summer my parent's house always has wasps nests in the roof so they're always around. Ugh, I hate them. I scream bloody murder if they get close to me.

I was stung today a work, man I had forgotten just how much it hurts. I have always been afraid of wasps but I had leaned to tolerate them. After today I´m definitely not letting them near me again.

I hope that the pain goes away soon.
I was stung by a wasp a couple of weeks ago while I was pet-sitting. It was only about an inch from my eye. Very scary. __________________

I'm pretty allergic to wasp-stings, so I'm always wary about them. Hope you get better soon.

It's strange. The woman that I pet-sit for didn't believe me when I tell her that I was stung by a wasp at her house. Of course, she also swears that her animals don't have fleas, and I know for a fact that's not true. Apparently she's in bug denial.

wow, that really sucks that soudns very painful.
I have had good luck with wasps, I think they love me or something. When I was little they would go in the pool and I would save their lives and they would dry off on my hand and then fly off. I have never been stung by one, word must have gotten around about my life saving skills. __________________

I got stung by a wasp last summer. It was sitting on my arm and I didn't see it and my brother saw it so he went to swat it away and it bit me. I've always been afraid of wasps but that just made is worse. Everytime I see one I just try to run away Everyone makes fun of me but I don't want to get bit again!

I once stepped into a wasp nest, and I got stung 17 times.
And this summer I got stung again, I laid down and didn't see the wasp. Needless to say I got up again quite soon. __________________

Poor old Carol Nope. Once though my cousin, friend, and my cousin's friend decided that knocking down a wasps nest down sounded like fun, they warned me and my other friend to go to the other side of the property, and proceeded to do so. My cousin got stung on the inside of his wrist, near a vein, my cousin's friend (who did the knocking down) didn't get stung, but the other guy got stung very close to his eye and within minutes it was so swollen. Idiots.

Yup, I've been stung my wasps.
Once I was taking groceries out of the trunk of the car (it was wagon) and I trapped a wasp, which I didn't even see, in between my arm and the gate of the trunk. The area that was stung was huge! __________________

Aww. Hope you feel better soon. Put on lots of ointment and a band-aid.
I got stung once on my left index finger in the 5th grade. Hurt like crap. Also swelled up and turned white. I think it took a week before the pain went away completely. To this day, I have a scar from where the wasp stung. |
