This topic made me laugh out loud I don't know why

I experienced it but not really on the next day. It usually happens when I buy techie stuffs (mobile phones, laptop, some gadgets).

I know that people sometimes bring an item back in to get the discount but I wouldn't do that. It sort of doesn't seem like playing fair. I would, however, ask the sales clerk before I bought the item if there were upcoming sales prices that could be applied to my purchase--stores are generally willing to do that.

I bought a blazer at £50 then two days later the store had a sale and it went down to £19.99!

Was so annoyed so took my chances and went into the shop and asked if I could take some goods up to the £30 I had lost and they let me do it! So it's not all bad

I was just going to say that. The women's clothing store I used to work at used to do that. It's valid up to two weeks after.
