Oh how I wish that was the case for me! Apparently my circadian clock is whack! I've tried (under the care of a dr.) sleep meds and on my own staying up anywhere from 24 to 36 hours to reset my clock to drinking myself into a coma with tequila. Nothing seems to work. I get on average 5.5 hours of sleep a day with an occasional nap now and then.

Perhaps I should just accept the fact that my clock is different. Of course that makes for a lonely world as generally only and about at most 5% of the entire human population is like me. So hence, I have no one to talk to or otherwise. Oh well.

I need my sleep... I'm not even working and I try to be in bed by 11

have you seen a Dr. about your situation or is it a DNA/ hereditary thing.. or a medical condition?

As I've stated, I have seen a dr. Numerous times. I've been given meds. In fact many meds over the years. lol Like I said... it just "might" be my natural clock.

I've been getting insomnia sessions and I'm really hoping this doesn't happen next week when I start work again. Melatonin usually works but seems to linger the next morning too.
