I could use a nap, but I need to wrap Christmas presents.

Tommy had to work the early shift today since one of his officers took the day off. So his alarm went off at 5 am. I couldn't go back to sleep

We are usually up by 6:15 weekdays, but that extra hour of sleep is needed

I really do better with 8 to 9 hours of sleep.

Yea am on an 8 hour schedule technically

9:30pm to 5:30am with few waking up but back to sleep quickly

Yes, I wake up fairly often too, but can usually go back to sleep til morning. I know that's not the best sleep, but I guess we get what we can

You tend to get daily naps, too, right?

Die Hard marathon over the weekend is all I've really got planned for now

not really doing much for the holidays

Think gonna go have my nap soon

Sorry i have been MIA today. Have been in pain from barometric pressure changes with the rain and colder temps. Highs for next several days is to be 40-32 F and lows 36-16 degrees. Feeling colder with the wind chill factor.

also been a little emotional from pain and missing my dad. He died December 27th 2002. His cancer was through out his body. We did have 7 years of remission!!! Also, missing my mom, too!!!

Thankful I got to recently got to spend 5 days with her and celebrate her 99th birthday with her!!! She is alert just needs her hearing aid to hear us talk. Without her hearing aid, We have to practically yell and talk slowly while facing her just a few feet away!!! So grateful my cousin makes sure she has both hearing aids in and changes her battery whenever we hear "feed back". I wrote a note to my mom. Also to my cousin and her husband. Thanking them for allowing my mom to live with them and taking such good care of her for about 15 years!!! Minus 1 1/2 years in a Senior Care place. My mom lived there to keep her sister company. Both of them got COVID-19. My mom recovered nicely but, aunt Peggy had heart and kidney problems that got worse. She died at her daughter's home. After the room got "sterilized" according to CDC rules, My mom was invited back and got her room back!!! I am sooo thankful for them!!! My mom love being there and get to often spend time with 6 of of my cousin's grandkids. One daughter home schools her 4 boys, She teaches with a friend. They go on "field trips" to the farm. There are 90 acres of walnut trees and 40 acres of almonds. They grow for "The Blue Diamond Nut Company"!!! The two grand daughters are 6 months and 18 months!!!

I wrote another novel...as usual!!!
