I wish.......I had a weird reaction to a med and was too groggy to sign consent for the surgery....guess my sinus infection did interfere after all.

They need the patient to be alert enough to sign the consent and establish a baseline of alertness.....I couldn't follow simple requests/commands...instead of my signing my name...I kept making small circles over and over on top of each other!!! I had had such eye pressure and sinus pressure pain and a severe migrain that when I got relief from the antibiotic working and sinus pressure decreasing, and migraine going away...my brain and body was ready for sleep even after the few meds they had me take before coming in......I got too relaxed.

I meet with my surgeon on the 18th of March and she will give me some dates that the surgery can be scheduled for. Hope and Pray no allergy/infection will cause me to be less than my best...in the alertness status!!! Never in the past 10+ surgeries have I had a problem with alertness or nervousness...Wasn't nervous at all this time either...

we got another inch of snow this morning but it warmed up and by afternoon the sun came out

and it warmed up enough to melt it!!!
