First Day of Summer ~ Longest Day of the Year
Happy Summer eneryone!
 Today is officially the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Do any of you celebrate the Summer Solstice? I've heard of people celebrating these days....of a huge party in Alaska as today is daylight all day, right? And of people making plans (special plas) of what to do with this longest day of the year. __________________

Carol: It was 84ºF here yesterday and today it's going to be 86-90º and close to 100ºF with the humidity. I should shower and get ready to go outside and tan. I need a lounge chair. I hate sitting in my regular patio chair, but at least it's padded.
It was so nice seeing the sun set at 10:30pm instead of 9. I love the sunsets here. So beautiful. __________________

Mich, the sun set at 10:30? It sets about 9 here..... at the longest days of the year....
Too bad you can't just hop a plane and come join me by my pool __________________

In norway 1st day of summer is the 1st of june
 and summer solstice is thursday  also called St.Hans, were we just have fun and light up a big fire....__________________
Going trough changes. I hope I'll make it through all these changes. |

How I wish I could go out and tan but nope...stuck in an office. Ohjoy!
 I used to celebrate this day by spending the whole day by the pool...tanning and drinking! |
