Please neighbors, if you want to set off your fireworks, wait until New Years' Eve, Chinese New Year, or 4th of July! Otherwise, don't set it off at any given time of the day. It's so annoying!

Plus, there is a local story here of how a girl's arm and hand were injured a few years ago when her neighbors set off some improvised illegal firework that sent shrapnel unintentionally at her direction.

Now don't get me wrong, I love fireworks. I love lighting it up, popping them, and throwing it at some distance (although my uncle, cousin, and brother had the guts to throw them at our grouchy neighbor's home) before it explodes. Jeez, New Years' Eve is only three weeks away

Yeah I have to admit that would annoy me alot too...they are nice sometimes...not all the freaking time...and they are dangerous the less they are used the less fires and missing limbs there will be. LOL.

Yup. They're nice and all but there's a time for it and the wrong time is when I'm actually studying.

I don't really know about the states over there but here, we can still pop fireworks in the vicinity of our own home. However, some fireworks, especially those that cause gigantic explosions have made its way on to the illegal list that people still retrieve anyway.

Lost in Translation

I don't have to deal with it now, but during the summer my neighbours up north love playing with firecrackers and whatnot, I didn't mind but my dog would hide in the washroom shaking.

Some of my neighbor's fireworks, I swear. It's loud enough to set off car alarms.

This is one of those things I dread about the holidays. The local fireworks stands will be opening in a few days...so I know that I won't get a decent night's sleep for awhile since everyone will be setting off fireworks.

One of the illegal fireworks that went off the other night...I swear, I thought the dust and shrapnel was going to come through my window. That's how loud it was.
