Ace of Base was so popular some years ago. But I was never into them. Don't ask me why. I guess that just wan't my cup of tea.

She's never sounded too country to me.

There's this other female artist (Jann Arden) whose music borderlines country for me. It's not bad (

I admit, I can stomach *some* country music) but country isn't my favourite genre.

I heard somewhere they came out with a new album last year or something.. I don't think it did very well though.

Gabi: I just noticed you mentioned Jewel. I liked her in her first years. But her last record depressed me. I hated it beyond belief. And that terrible video, with her sexy look... What happened to the girl who played guitar and composed beautiful music? She looked like a Britney Spears wannabe. I found it sad.

I know! I had never seen that video until recently, and I'm still weirded out by it. I mean, she was poking fun at certain advertisements, but then she carried on with the look?

The funny thing is that supposedly, that album sold more than any of her other albums. Wtf? I heard that she's coming out with a new album and it's gonna be like her older stuff. I hope so! She doesn't suit the pop diva circle.
