Aww, that sucks! I hope I'll get to see them live. I mean, like in my city. The last time they only hit some small festivals in small towns...

Hopefully! Usually getting bigger means more tour dates, but sometimes they skip over the smaller cities. Hopefully Calgary won't be skipped!

No, most big bands consider Canada to be just Vancouver ("western Canada representation"), Toronto, Montreal & Quebec City ("eastern Canada representation").

Why ToT?

I saw them live once, in October 2003. It was in my city, a few weeks before Ben left the band. I loved it.

I also saw them on tv, playing Rock in Rio Lisbon, in 2004.
Amy's voice wasn't sounding very good. I mean, it wasn't that bad but it wasn't as good as she usually sings. Some of my friends saw it and they said she couldn't sing outside a studio.

Yeah, lots of people say she can't sing live. I think she still needs to learn how to save her voice... she's quite good at the beginning of the tours. And when she's singing songs at the piano. She doesn't sound awesome, but she can still hit most of the notes.. you know?

I still love Amy.

I agree with you. I saw the concert in the beggining of the european tour and her voice was ok. Then, 7 months later, her voice was bad.
I think they need to play less shows or Amy could start saving her voice.

i like it when people cant sing as well live.
it shows a difference from the studio version.
I saw WT live and they were good, but not amazing!!
its a case of seen it all before, i knew the sings she sang them the way she always does and it was nice but not great, y'know?
so i think its pretty cool she sings different,
i know im weird XD

It wasn't much as Amy sounding different: she sounded really bad in some songs. She couldn't hit the high notes she hits on the record and we could see she was trying but her voice just couldn't make it. It was quite sad and disappointing.
I also love it when artists sound different. They sometimes improvise and and change the lyrics of the songs. But Amy just didn't sound good. They shouldn't have toured for all those months.

I saw Evanescence live too. I was surprised they decided to come to New Zealand... but so glad they did It was one of the best concerts I had been to. It was amazing. Me and my friend managed to stand right in the front row. Great fun

The best song in my opinion was "Haunted". After hearing that song live... it instantly became one of my all-time favorite Ev songs. It was so haunting, no pun intended hehe
