Yeah, my mom has been watching it since she was a kid. That the weird part about guiding light ending is that there are so many soaps that have been around for almost 50 years.

Also, Days of Our Lives.. I remember my best friend and I always talked about it, but both of us stopped watch it.. Even tho I hate how they always recast the young one, but never w/ older cast members..

Yeah, I tried watching soaps, but I don't like when they recast for the same character. And it happens so much on those things.

hahaha yeah. And I don't like that so many people just break up a few months after. Like whatever couples are together currently, you know that they won't be together forever.

It was more so the getting married stuff. So many of them get married, but then because you know that the show lasts so long, it's pretty much inevitable that it will never last.
