& Summer was always trying to help Ryan....although I do think the writers laid on everyone shipping Ryan/Taylor too much towards the end of s4

It would have been nice to see it the other way around too and see Ryan more protective of Summer and stopped some of Seth's shenanigans for Summer's sake

We got lots of little moments like that where Seth was talking to Ryan about Summer & Ryan would keep saying things, calling Seth out when he was being an ass & encouraging Seth to treat her better

True, I would have liked a scene where they had a bit of a heart to heart but we were lucky with what we got

I would have loved for them to have a one to one about that stuff, generally their one on one scenes were more Summer helping Ryan, but we did get them both talking about each other's relationships a bit in 2x02

I think we did get some lovely moments and 2x02 was definitely the best moment where they were honest with eachother and I'm grateful we had that

Me too, even though it was awkward at first, they never really put up a front with each other, I think Summer was always so forward & honest, it brought out the same in Ryan, so talking seemed like it was easy with the two of them, & I'd have loved to see it happen more

She didn't seem to judge so I think he felt he could be a bit more open which is exactly what he needed.

Definitely, & she says things as she sees them as well, you don't have to try & figure out what she means because she's so blunt she just straight up says what she means

Even if he did it once or twice with Marissa, it wasn't a common thing like it was with Summer
