No clue what you are talking about here. Will need to check it out

Me too :look:

It's the guy who turns into the "Chupacabra". My parents are from Mexico though so for me the difference was very noticeable.

That's an interesting observation. and it's really a shame when they don't use proper actors for such things. If someone is supposed to be Spanish/or from anywhere else they should be able to speak the language properly.

What about the other languages like German, did they use that properly.?

Pretty much every episode there was at least one person, whether it be a cop/sheriff etc or someone they're interviewing, who really annoyed me with thier attitude to Mulder and the X-Files.

They would sneer and turn up their noses when they heard of the X-Files and scoff at Mulder's theories. I just wanted to slap them and tell them how many times they had saved the world! Although quite often they would be killed in the episode which was a comfort. :D

I agree

A slight smack him moment to CC for not prolonging the Krycek and Mulder partnership. I don't mean like a whole season but just a couple of more episodes. Not only would it mean there would be more episodes in which Krycek appeared but there would be more I miss you moments between M&S which are just way too cute in Sleepless.

^ I agree

And not a smack - worthy complain, just a wish, a few scenes between Krycek/Scully...don't remember any except in Duane Barry

She met him in Sleepless and was pretty rude to him , but you're right they were hardly in any scenes together.

OMG yes. And the Spanish lines in Vienen were horrendous. It always annoys me so much to see mistakes that could've been easily corrected. I mean, they seriously couldn't find anyone that spoke Spanish?

Closure. I'm still angry about it. Such a fundamental story arch deserved a better demise than that one. I was honestly so very angry after I found out that this was the end of the Samantha story. My heart hurt for Mulder. I seemed to be able to let her go, but for some reason I just can't. I need Samantha to still be out there and I need Mulder to find her. More than anything in The X-files I wanted them to be reunited and it's never gonna happen now & I just can't consider that closure for me. Though Mulder must have been tired of searching. It took everything out of him and I was glad that was off of his shoulders, but honestly I'd much rather believe what happened in Redux II was the truth than that. Idk...I'm just taking a while to process & accept the end of the Samantha Mulder story line. I feel it left a lot of questions still unanswered.

I would have liked to slap the people who hired the captain of the Queen Anne in 'triangle' .He was meant to be english but had the worst and most stereotypical irish accent. I'm sure they could have found someone better :)

Trustno1 07-27-2012 12:10 PM

Yeah but no show can resolve any of this properly.

Lost didn't, PLL won't etc. It was subtle and nice but a copout. I can't/won't deny that

I know what you mean. Sometimes they are rather careless with accents on TV shows.

On a happy note, they did a pretty good job with the Germans in Triangle. ;) Most shows just take anyone who speaks German, no matter how thick their American accent
The only ones who spoke seriously horrible German were the regular ones

Alex G 07-29-2012 06:15 AM

yeah the Germans were good I was listening to chris carter in the commentary and he said he hired real Germans to act as the soldiers, it sounds much better :) i know poor cigarette smoking man was struggling with his lines
