I hope everyone has a nice weekend! |
TFTNT!
Well besides having the virus in April, I am ok. NY is doing a lot better than other states now though. |

I am very exhausted today. Not sure why. Might be the humidity and the heat  |
Thanks!
We had a terrible heat wave here recently. I think it definitely contributes to exhaustion. |
It was lovely food, thanks Leanne. :)
Our lockdown easing has been halted. There are a number of outbreaks around Manchester, and there are scientists saying we can't open up any more and keep numbers down. Not the best news. :( It was so hot here when I got home! 35°C! :thud: I'm glad it's a bit cooler today. I've been very busy getting food, and washing clothes today. We have another teenager staying with us for three weeks. All three of them will be helping my husband do stuff. New York had it bad, doing much better now though I hear... Thanks for the new thread, Kia. I hope we do get some normalcy. And a vaccine, too. |
I understood why it was so bad here though. We are a densely populated place.

Some schools have opened already in the States, so I’ll get a hint of what come for BC in a month from now!
Oh, you have another house guest, Claire? You are really a nice welcoming person!  Claire, you’re washing clothes coming home from vacation, the same day I’m doing the same to go to vacation :P Kia, did you manage the bike tour? Can’t remember! It’s quite hot everywhere! :sun: My cat’s nose bled today, but not hard, no idea why it did thought of course that happens two days before I leave him! |

Sweden never closed schools, so I hope we can all learn from their experience. It does seem schools don't increase transmission that much. I hope you have a good time, Leanne. :) Sorry to hear he had a nose bleed. :( Ebony is still with us, we're trying to keep her as happy as possible. Yes, we have a house guest, still the kids are going to have something to do for once, which is nice. |
I didn't refresh the page before typing my anser and it got lost  Such a rookie mistake
Well, it wasn't even very hot here though some places had 39°C ( ) but the humidity was off the charts. Being outside felt like swimming  Claire, I expect stricter restrictions in one or two weeks here as well. We'll manage this crisis, all of us. :group_hug: Leanne, yes, I did :) Already 1400km this year :D And could the heat be responsible for your cat's nosebleed? And as far as I know Sweden never closed schools but generally speaking their plan of not doing anything went very wrong! We're told not to go to Sweden or the north of Spain at the moment. |

^I'm sure you did.
We don't have new restrictions yet. :fingers_crossed: I do worry about how we'll get through the winter though. Victoria has it bad. They've gone into full lockdown there. Sweden did have some high numbers, but they've improved a bit recently. The trouble is the longer this goes on for the more people suffer from the lockdown measures. There no winning until we have a decent treatment and/or a vaccine. I had a chill day today. I needed it after the 5 hour drive in the heat! |
Where are you located?
|
I'm in the southeast of England. We had fairly high numbers in this region in the spring, but numbers are low now and still falling.
|
I think Europe has put America to shame tbh.
