It does seem like the competition keeps getting tougher every year with all of the new shows streaming now, and all of the prestige talent being attracted to tv

I don't know because I'm not familiar with a majority of the work the other nominees have done. I am rooting for Gillian and Jodie. That's it.

I was happy with Jodie Foster’s win too, that one was a genuine surprise as I hadn’t seen her mentioned anywhere as one of the strong possibilities to win her category, and it was nice to see her in her pjs with her wife and their cute dog!

Jodie was looking hella rich in her silk pajamas with her wife and white doggie lol. I love how genuinely surprised she was she won and I'm happy for her.

Omg Gillian looks so pretty.

I completely forgot about this event, what a bummer. So Gillian accepts her Golden Globe and does all the press thereafter as an American and then decides to do this interview as a Brit. My brain hurts.

Ok, today I’m listening to Veronica Cartwright’s podcast interview about her movies and how it was to be filming on the X-Files. And even if I don’t really care about her character much, its interesting to hear her talk about how she got started, working with Hitchcock, the chest bursted scene in Alien and how enthusiastic she is about the X-Files. She loved the whole thing and she tells about behind the scenes stories while she was filming it! And she believes her character was half human and half alien. And William B. Davis didn’t even smoke. And I didn’t know she was the CSM’s ex wife for some reason.

Plus her and the podcaster even talked about Gillian’s laughing.
