I put my watching on hold for a bit because my life got pretty hectic - so I'm still on S3. But damn this news has gotten me so excited! I need to catch up with everything before it comes back. There are a lot of seasons but I am determined. I love these two

I'm rewatching the show right now. Saw "Ice" yesterday. Love that episode because there were so many great and intense M/S scenes in it. And the highlight of course the neck-check for worm infection

I always loved "Ice" it's one of my fav episode ever, and it's true their scenes were pretty strong, even if it was just the beginning you could shout "Angst!" already!

I also think it's hilarious that Mulder never solved a single case...I don't think I'd ever realized that...although is it really true? I"ll have to think on this...that's as good a reason as any to do a rewatch.

I think he did, but by government standards, since they're still unbelievable they're considered unsolved. Also allot of the proof were either stolen or destroyed so that didn't help much.

Yeah exactly, since he could never give a rational explanation to them, which was what the FBI was looking for, all his cases remained classified as "unsolved". Paranormal solutions were not accepted..

I wonder how CSM's return could make any sense, I mean, on the very last episode he died (we saw that house/cave exploding with him surrounded by flames...), and sure, these are the X Files but still... having him back would be funny! Maybe on flashbacks? But the actor is too old to play a CSM of +10 years ago...
Also, is it true that now is not allowed to smoke on TV series anymore? A Gum-Chewing Man is more likely

I think they would make an exception for the villain surely? I can understand them hesitating at making a main character appear "cool" by smoking, but for a villain I wouldn't have thought it would matter so much?
