Thought I'd introduce myself.
 Name: Rachel Age: 17 Location: Leicestershire, England Fave Movie: Alien Fave Tv Show: X-Files and Bleak House. Who is your favorite character: Scully. What is your favorite season: Hell, I dunno. Seasons 1-7.  What is your all time favorite episode: Er... Irristible/ Orison/ Home/ Post-Modern Promethius/ Detour/ Beyond the Sea/ Humbug/ Ice/ Firewalker. I could list more. Anything Else: I got into the X-Files about 3 years after the series ended. I was reluctant to watch it because I remember hiding under my pillow on Sunday nights while that creepy-as-hell opening theme creeped up through the floorboards of my room when I was about 7. But after getting the Season 1 boxset for Christmas in 2004, I figured I'd better give it a try. The first time I ever saw it was on Jan 1st. I was hooked from the very first episode, and managed to watch 10 straight hours of it in that one day. That's 14 episodes. |

Hopefully you will enjoy your time here on the board. And if Beyond the Sea is one of your favourite episodes you will be happy with the result of our Season 1 Episode Survival tournament were Beyond the Sea was just crowned as the best episode of season 1. Wow 14 episodes in your first day of X-Files watching, very impressive!  I too avoided the show for a while as the first episode I ever saw was Home which traumatised me for a few years  |
