Apparently they asked that question because Gillian said that the chemistry between them is always there, even when sometimes they don’t want to talk to one another but M/S have too, and so the reporter asked what does he do on the days that you don’t want to talk to him

No, Naomi, watch the video. It was David who said that even on days they don’t wanna talk, unfortunately Mulder and Scully have to and then the reporter asked him that question.

I think that no matter what is happening between them, at the end of the day they’re professional. Even if they are sick of being around each other, they’re gonna put of all that aside for the show. I love that you couldn’t even sense if there was any animosity - not that I think there ever was - because Gillian and David have so much chemistry. And Gillian is right, that isn’t something you can fake. It’s either there or it isn’t and the audience will be able to tell.

Their chemistry in general truly does transcend to something and somewhere that you can't explain it and as David said it is like Kismet or fate and that still always brings a smile to me :')

I love when David said it was Kismet. It’s like no matter what, they were destined to meet.

I know Gillian has said on several occasions that she can’t even really explain what she feels for David, and I think that’s because it’s so profound. Ugh I’m about to spiral.

I first watched the video under the influence of Mary Jane and I noticed so many things. Like, the way she looks at him so intently when he’s talking. And there’s definitely an air of sexual tension between them. I feel like they were definitely going through something incredibly profound during that time. To think that he’s the one she reached out to during the breakup of her marriage, means so much. David seems to be the first one she confides in when she’s going through a major life change. Just like when she found out she was pregnant with Piper.

I don’t think Gillian or David would ever betray one another for some tabloids. They love and respect each other too much.

I like how David just kisses her. Yeah, they have their own special relationship for sure. And they respect each other. I do think it meant a lot to David that she would trust him the most to confide in him about her life cause Gillian seems the sort that at least used to not share personal things with people or the public.

Now as she’s gotten older she’s definitely more open about sharing difficult things. But not things between her and her family and friends.

Were you able to hear what the reporter said before he kissed her? I wonder what compelled him to do that but I just love how it was so close to her mouth.

She trusts him so much and I just love that.

No I didn’t hear, but maybe with headphones on I could like that time I heard that childhood story Scully was telling in that episode when I had headphones on!

That's true, it's just so hard to hear the reporters even with the volume all the way up.
