According to that article, the BBC used to have a partnership with Netflix so this is their way of continuing some type of working relationship with the UK.

Also, Gillian said she doesn't sing so this will be rather interesting.

I really want her to do work in America again.

I think the BBC are working with Netflix less now that they are trying to establish their own streaming service

Yeah it’s annoying that they’re taking a lot of shows off Netflix now to put on BritBox instead

We could already watch a lot of that stuff for the cost of a Netflix subscription, only now you also have to pay £5.99 for the privilege of watching on BritBox

I have my ways of getting downloads to things and I also have Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Hulu, so there are plenty of options.
