Well, good luck with getting it all sorted. I don't know how I'll handle my mom being too old to care for.
 Ha, Europe is high on my list but I just think about the travel time and get tired.  I don't think anywhere except New Zealand and Australia is looking good but I'm still going. |

I would LOVE to go to Australia or New Zealand.
 I think it is great you already think about your summer plans. Makes me optimistic that we will get out of this dark valley soon as well  And I think there are lots of ways to take care of parents at home. It becomes difficult when they need 24/7 care. Especially when dementia is involved. __________________

 So would I but it takes like a day to get there and I’m not ready for that type of commitment yet. Well, if I don’t get out of here soon I’m going to lose my damn mind. Pandemic be damned. I read somewhere that dementia can be passed on by being around someone who has it. So taking care of your own mental health is really important. |

It's definitely true that some people ruined their own health by feeling the responsibility to take care of someone else....that's not worth it, as sad as it sounds.

It's hard to put yourself first when it has to do with a loved one. My family always called me selfish growing up because I put myself before their issues. I have no regrets.

Today was the most annoying day of my life. Everything was getting on my nerves at work and I don't know why. I think I was cranky from lack of sleep.

Lack of sleep will certainly do it!
I actually had a day where I was motivated and not feeling exhausted or fatigued or cranky. Pretty productive work day!  __________________

It's almost 2 am here and I'm still up but I don't work tomorrow. I'm not really sure why I'm still awake, I don't stay up this late anymore

Yeah, but it was after so many bad sleep nights, I finally took 30 mg of indica and had a great sleep and woke up totally feeling good.
I ordered a galaxy light projector for my new place just now, so I’ll be able to lay in bed and have ambient colour and nebula movement on the ceiling and walls! __________________

My problem is that I love to read at night while I lay in bed so I end up going to sleep late and having to wake up early for work.
That sounds so relaxing!! |

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, I guess I bought myself it for a "homecoming" or "housewarming" gift to myself after moving
I like reading before bed too, except any fiction I read is usually scary, probably not the wisest reading choices. My co worker isn't here today so I have the library space to myself since I cant teach classes, they just come in for a few minutes and borrow books. I have beach music playing on the TV so this atmosphere is soooo nice, especially for a Friday  __________________
