Man I saw some lists that modern viewers were making up for older shows of which episodes they recommend watching and which are for skipping because they consider them to be ‘filler’, and X-Files had new viewers being recommended to skip more than half of each season Same with a lot of Buffy and Angel episodes too! How can you watch tv like that

Sometimes on rewatch I do skip the episodes that are real stinkers :coughFightClubcough: , but first time around at least I like to watch everything and judge for myself, there are episodes like Badlaa which I didn’t end up sharing the general fandom consensus on at all. Same for me with Buffy and DoublemeatPalace, or Farscape and the unpopular episode Coup By Clam, so you just never know until you’ve seen them for yourself

You never know what you might like that everyone else says isn’t a good episode so it’s best to just give the show a try without skipping everything cause I have to say I kind of like the famous one where M&S go into the killer video game

I still haven’t seen Fight Club either

I hated Fight Club so much The video game one is kind of funny in a campy kind of way though I guess, it’s different at least

It was definitely enjoyable in that it was different but wow...it hasn't aged well at all

A lot of virtual reality episodes from the 90’s tend not to age that well

It is funny how dated it seems to me now when I watch my old 90’s favourites like X-Files and Friends and they have VHS tapes and those old fashioned computer desktops, it just feels like such a different time, even though it wasn’t all that long ago really, but in some ways it just feels like forever ago with how quickly tech is developing now

And cute pic

I used to want the “big” tv’s on Friends’ apartments but now I see they are those heavy old CRT’S.

My Mum still refuses to get a flatscreen tv because she likes being able to put ornaments and photographs on the current tv

Wow, so they still exist and apparently work. I guess the HD quality wouldn't be there!
